Short programs with the same practice and graded work as a degree course.
For deans and program directors adding a certificate or a micro-credential. Alma's learning engineers build it from the material you already have, and your faculty and learning designers approve the design and the result.

A short program still has to be designed, produced, and kept current.
A certificate or a micro-credential is smaller than a degree, and the work of building it usually lands on the same faculty and the same design team. Alma takes the production, starting from the slides, recordings, and syllabus the department has. Your syllabus sets the hours, and your faculty and learning designers choose the activities that fill them.
The same activity types, in the amounts a shorter program needs.
A typical three-credit course, for comparison, holds about 200 activities across 135 hours.
Lectures students can interrupt
Each has an AI teaching assistant. Lectures show your faculty, in their own face and voice, with their written agreement.
Practice with AI characters
In text, voice, or video. The AI character pushes back on anything vague.
Graded work against a rubric
AI-graded and human-confirmed, fully by people, or fully by AI. Feedback quotes the student's own words.
The same record of outcomes
Every activity is traced to the learning outcomes approved for the course, with a time estimate.
What the credential counts toward is your institution’s decision.
Whether a certificate carries credit, and how it relates to your degrees, follows your own policies. Alma builds the courses. The AI teaching assistant supports your instructors' teaching and does not replace their interaction with students.
The same 4 steps as any course, in weeks.
Discovery, design, build, and launch. For each course, the decisions take about a day of your team's time. Review is separate, and you set how deep it goes. You own what is built, and contract length follows your preference.
A whole degree and a single course are built the same way.

Bring the outline of your certificate.
We build an example from your own material, at no cost, before you decide. An outline and whatever material the department has are enough to start the conversation.
