For corporate learning

From a folder of decks to a training program that shows who is ready.

For heads of learning and enablement. Send us the decks, recordings, and SOPs you already have. Alma's learning engineers build the program, and your experts review it instead of writing it.

The situation

Two complaints follow most company training.

The people who take it say it has nothing to do with their job, so they click next until the quiz and guess until they pass. The business asks what changed, and the only answer on hand is who finished. Both usually start in the same place: someone hands over slides and asks for a course, and the experts who know the work are too busy to write one. Alma starts from what your people currently get wrong, builds practice around it, and asks your experts only to review.

What you send us

Any one of these is enough to start.

Decks and existing training

Slide decks, and the workshop that only works when one facilitator delivers it.

Recorded sessions and webinars

Including the all-hands recording almost nobody finished.

Your competency framework

Your leadership model or your sales methodology. We build to your definitions of what good looks like.

The SOPs nobody reads

Policies and process documents people are supposed to have read. We turn them into situations to work through.

Real situations from the business

Escalations, lost deals, the conversation a manager handled badly last quarter. Take the names out first. These become the practice conversations.

The person everyone asks

When the know-how lives in one head and that person has no time to write, we interview them and build from the transcript.

What this replaces

With the three usual routes, you still do the work yourself.

Building it in-house

Your experts become the authors.

One hour of interactive e-learning takes about 180 hours to build, and about 90 percent of that is execution (Chapman Alliance, 2010). Your designers wait on experts who are too busy.

Licensing a library

It arrives generic and goes stale.

Nothing in it uses your terms or your situations. What it reports back is who finished.

An AI course generator

A quick draft, then your editing.

People who have tried these tools describe the output as generic and in need of heavy editing, which lands on your experts.

What Alma does

Built from your material, reviewed by your experts.

You keep the direction: what it covers and what good looks like in your business. Alma's learning engineers do the production. Live in weeks.

What comes back

A finished program, built around practice and feedback.

Sessions in a planned order

Each one gets to the point and moves people toward what they should be able to do.

Practice with a counterpart who pushes back

An AI counterpart plays the customer or the direct report in a situation from your business, in text, voice, or video. Vague answers get challenged.

Feedback in the person's own words

It quotes what they said, names what was missing, and gives one thing to change next time.

A check you cannot guess through

People show they can do it in a conversation or a piece of real work, measured against the standard your experts set.

Who is ready, per person and per team

You see who is stuck and where, and who has met the standard for each skill.

Under your company's name

It runs inside your LMS, or from a link. Your people never see Alma.

How it is made

Four steps. The decisions take about a day of your experts’ time.

Your experts review the plan and the result. They write nothing.

Step 01

We ask what your people currently do wrong

One conversation with whoever owns the skill, plus the material you send.

You and your experts

Step 02

Your experts correct the plan

A plan you can read: what people will practice, what good looks like, in what order. Each choice comes as a short menu with our recommendation.

Your experts review

Step 03

Alma builds the program

Our learning engineers produce every session, practice conversation, and check.

Step 04

Your experts review the result

They go through it as an employee would and mark what is wrong. We fix it, and it goes live.

Your experts review

Start with one program, and one number the business already tracks.

Pick one group, such as new managers or one sales team, and one number you already report. We agree on it before anything is built. When the program has run, you compare who is ready with that number. Your LMS stays as it is. We build an example from your own material, at no cost, before you decide. Ask for one when you book.

An example

What a program for first-time managers could look like.

An illustration of what the product does. It describes no client and reports no results.

First

It starts from a conversation managers avoid

Say, telling someone their work is below the bar. A short session sets out what your leadership model asks for.

Then

The manager rehearses it out loud

An AI counterpart plays the team member and pushes back on anything vague.

After each try

The feedback uses the manager's own words

It quotes the sentence where they softened the message, and gives one thing to change next time.

Before the real one

A check comes first

The manager runs it again, measured against the standard your experts set. You see which managers are ready.

Keeping it current

When the playbook changes, the program changes with it.

One change goes through every session

A new policy, figure, or product name is entered in one place. A revision takes days.

Every part says what it is for

Each records the skill it serves and why it is there, so the next owner can see what to change.

Questions

Three questions buyers ask first, and one limit.

Will our experts still have to do the work?

No. They answer questions at the start and approve the plan, which takes about a day. Checking the finished program against that plan can be shared with others on your team.

Will people actually use it?

It is built around practice. People are put in a situation from your business and asked to say or write something. We publish no usage figures, so the pilot is where you test this.

What happens to our data?

It stays on Alma's platform and is never used to train a model. Only your own staff and the few Alma people building your program can see it. We go through the details with your security team.

Who is this not for?

Anyone who needs a lesson by this afternoon, or a library of ready-made courses. Alma builds around your material, and that takes weeks.

Bring one program you need and the material you have.

Tell us who it is for and what they currently get wrong. We will show you the product and say whether it fits.
