A finished course opens in the LMS you already run, in ours, or from a link.
Alma's learning engineers set it up with your LMS administrator, and students log in to the LMS the way they do now.
- Your LMS
- Any LTI-compliant LMS
- No LMS
- Alma's own, or a link
- Languages
- Dozens, spoken and written
- Setup
- Done by Alma, with your administrator
There are 3 ways to run a course, and you choose one.
In any LTI-compliant LMS
The course opens inside the LMS you already run, under your name and with your enrollments. Scores go to the gradebook the instructor already uses.
In Alma's own LMS
For an organization that has no LMS, or a program that sits outside the one it has.
From a link
You send people a link, and the course opens from it.
Wherever it runs, the course carries your name and your look. The student never sees Alma.
The same course can run in dozens of languages.
Spoken as well as written
Dozens of languages, for what people read in a course and for what they hear in it.
Your team checks accessibility before launch
Tell us the accessibility guidance your institution or company follows and we build to it, and your team can run the course through the tools it already uses before anyone takes it. The service has not yet had formal testing against recognized standards; our accessibility statement says so in full.
The course goes live after your final approval, with enrollments and the gradebook connected.
Alma’s learning engineers do the setup with your LMS administrator. Your material stays on Alma’s platform and is never used to train a model, and the principles we work by are on the security page.
Two questions an LMS administrator asks.
Do we have to change LMS?
No. The course opens inside any LTI-compliant LMS, so your people keep using the one you run today.
Do students need a new login?
No. Students log in to their LMS as they do now, and the course opens there, in the same place as every other course.
Book a demo and bring your LMS administrator.
We build an example from your own material, at no cost, before you decide. At the demo we walk through a finished course and where yours would run.
